Message Board Rules:
1. Help your fellow InternetPlayer.
a. It looks like I dont even have to mention this, but I will anyway. Often
there are individuals requesting some sort of information(a good online broker,
realtime quote sites, etc). As an investment community I expect each individual to
help out their fellow InternetPlayer whenever possible(it will come back in the
end). We're all here for the same reason, lets try to make the stay as enjoyable as
possible.
2. Do not lie/pump.
a. Nothing ticks me off more that a post that has a subject of "XYZ to DA
MOON!!!" or some thing to that extent. If you've got some thing to say, share it,
we'd love to hear it- but keep it sane. Dont start or spread false or empty rumors,
this will not be tolerated. The consequences of pumping and lying is banishement.
We have your IP address saved so we know if you just come back and register again.
Once again, I dont think I really have to mention all this, but it must be said.
3. Keep things organized.
a. Simply put, every pick should be in it's corresponding board. If you've
got a Big Cap Play, talk about it in the Big Cap Board, not the Penny Board. This
should be obvious so I dont expect much trouble.
-If you understand the above mentioned criteria, you'll fit in fine. Now go
post!
Chat Room Rules:
1. Respect thy fellow InternetPlayer.
a. Be eager to help each other out whenever possible. We're all here for the
same reason, so lets try to make the stay enjoyable.
b. All ideas are welcome, and no ideas are wrong. That being said, always
make sure the information you provide to a fellow InternetPlayer is accurate. Try
to keep an open minded view of things.
2. No Caps, No pumping.
a. Do not make the attempt to get the room excited over an otherwise life
less or empty stock. There will be a warning after which time if the individual has
not complied with our requests, they will recieve the boot(kicked out of the room).
One may even get the a permanent ban if they try this more than just a few times.
b. The opposite of pumping, bashing, will also get you booted. You can
logically argue your view point on a stock if you dislike it, but no repetitive
gibberish.
3. We can't give advice.
a. This is a very simple rule. You see, we can't really answer the question
"Should I buy XYZ now?" as we are not registered investment advisors. You may ask
questions like "Are you buying more XYZ?" - that we can answer. Keep this in mind
when asking us about a certain stock.
4. Don't scroll.
a. Please try to avoid repeating yourself. "Go XYZ" can only be said so many
times.
5. We are not gods.
a. Yes, I've heard the tales of statues being put up in our honor, we're
greatful. Understand that we are not always right(its true) and that one should
always do their own DD(due diligence) before buying/selling/holding a stock.
-Thats it folks. Understand the things mentined above and you're good to go.
